Some recent signature works undertaken in the Framework has been the completion of the A2 Bangor scheme, one of the busiest dual carriageways in Northern Ireland, which involved the replacement of 6.9km of watermain and taking possession of 2 lanes of the dual carriageway from 8pm on a Friday through to 6am on a Monday, working 24 hours a day in order to avoid disruption to weekday traffic flows.
