TM A6 Dualling – Dungiven to Drumahoe

This strategically important project provides 25.5km of high-speed dual carriageway between Dungiven and Drumahoe. Lagan O&M were awarded the traffic management package on this scheme in 2019. The traffic management included road closures, diversions, haul road crossings, contraflows, high speed works, emergency call outs, inspections, and all aspects of maintenance. Lagan O&M provided a TSCO for the scheme who managed all elements of the project.

An estimated 15,000 vehicles use the route each day therefore keeping traffic flowing during the construction period was challenging but Lagan O&M delivered the traffic management element of the scheme in a professional manner while keeping the workers and the public safe. Throughout the scheme our aim was to maximise safety and minimise the disruption to the public.

The scheme was completed in the summer of 2023.
